2. Seems that some programs finish up the video so, that you need
a divx codec to play them. That codec is for free so it shouldn't

be a big problem to get it. Search for 'divx codec' on Google or so
and you should be able to find it. Download and install it, then
all the videos should be working for you.

3. Of course!! I'm always open for suggestions.
But I should also warn you, that I'm not doing it, when I'm not
comfortable with the song, or don't have an idea when listening
to it. But that rarely happens. The other thing is, that since I
always have so many projects running and other requests to do,
it could take me a little bit longer, but it doesn't have to be.
    Just mail your request to
me
and I will give you more details
regarding how long it will take me and if I'm able to do it.

4. Well I personally would say, that it would be boring if I did that,
don't you think? If you ask me it shows a lack of creativity,
since you just use the same idea over and over. It's not that
hard to find similiar scenes by an other couple or show. It's like
using the same clip sequence and just use an other song to
present it. Not very diversified. That's why I try to figure out,
for which couple or show the song would fit best and then go
with that. When the video is finished, the song is no longer of
interest for me, at least in the Musicvideo department. But
sometimes it can happen, that I just can't decide for which
couple or show the song would fit best and that's when I use the
song twice, but I really try hard not to let that happen too often,
because of the reasons I just mentioned. In the long run I'm
sure it will be more interesting for you and also for me, since
I have to hear the song or at least parts of it over and over
again while working on it after all and believe me it doesn't
sound better, when you hear the same part of the song for the
    20th time that day...

5. Actually I use different programs, since some of the formats the
episodes are in, give my programs big trouble, so I have to use
another. If you're asking, because you try to figure out which
program would be best for you, to do your own Musicvideos, I
would recommend Windows Movie Maker. Why? That's has
different reasons: First of all, it's really easy to use and you're
able to learn the basics of Video cutting programs, so that if
you wish, you can later use more professional programs, even
though it's not that necessary in my opinion, since WMM has
the same special features all the other programs have too. The
very expensive programs have probably some extras, but I
don't know about that in detail, since I'm not willing to pay so
much money to find out. You should also think about the fact,
that the effects in your videos don't count that much, or
shouldn't at least. In my opinion effects and transitions
shouldn't be able to distract the viewers from the idea and
meaning behind the videos. Of course it's great if others
remember you, because of the great effects you have in your
videos, but is that really all you want to achieve? To show
others, that you use the best program? I don't think so. Big
effects are great, but shouldn't be the main thing. The second
reason for WMM is, that it's most of the time already installed
on your computer when you buy it. So you don't have to worry,
about where you can get it. And if by any chance it's not on your
computer, you can get it from the official Windows homepage.
WMM accepts most of the formats and codes the episodes or
clips can be in. That's why I think this program is the best for
beginner and I can say, that I started out with it too and use it
    once in a while still.

6. I have all the episodes and I'm cutting the needed clips myself.
Therefore I have no clue where you can download clips for the
misc. TV shows and movies. Sorry.

7. Normally I don't have anything against people who us my clips,
if they make sure to follow some simple rules:
Don't copy the complete video and just add an other song or
even worse, let it how it is and just put your name on it. I know
it sounds very unlikely that someone is so unscrupulous or
stupid to do something like that, but I've already saw it
happening a few times. You can cut out single clips, but not
complete sequences. That means as soon as there's a
transition you have to back off, since that's already classified
as theft from other peoples work. The same goes for special
effects like slow motion for example. I handle it that way, that
you can use special effects I've made, as long as you drop me
a message first and ask me and later give credit. I think that's
only fair, since I put a lot of work and time in doing my videos
and it's annoying to see people who just use the easy way out.
I'm sure you wouldn't like to see someone else using your
stuff, so be so fair and don't do it to others. I know how hard it
is at the beginning, when you don't have the episodes yourself
and you have to depend on clips from other videos. I was in
that position once too and therefore I know how tempting it is,
to just use a clip sequence from someone else, since it just fits
so good in the own video. Just try to resist. It would be a
shame, if other vidders just feel impelled to download your
stuff in order to see if you copied something from them again
and not what you were able to create this time. The viewers
probably would be just bored, since they just saw that.
Therefore just save yourself and everyone else the trouble and
    let your own creativity flow.
Since that doesn't seem to work for some people I had
to change a few things. From now on Videos from me
will have a watermark in form of a silver handprint in
the right top corner. I hate the fact that I had to do
that, since there were some who respected my rules
and those will be punished now as well. It's just that I
put so much work and time in my videos and it annoys
me, when people cut big parts out of my videos or even
use the whole video and just add a new song and present
it as their work. In the last time that happened too
often, so I saw the watermark option as my only chance.
    That means:
You can still cut out scenes(!) from my old videos.
Videos with watermark are off-limits and it's not hard to
prove when you contravene, so don't even try it.
If you really need a clip badly and can't find it anywhere
else you can ask me for it and I will look what I can do.
That of course only counts, as long as I don't get like 40
requests each day or a long list from one person. I don't
have that much time, so it should be only in an
   emergency case.

8. First of all, I'm feeling very honored, when you like my videos
so much, that you want to present them on your site or
recommend them on boards. Nevertheless I have to say that
I would prefer a link to my site more, than direct links to the
videos. That has different reasons. Firstly I would like to have
some control about what's happening with my stuff and
secondly in order to prevent trouble with my server I would like
people to read the intructions how to download the videos first,
so that the videos don't get deleted. If you still would like to
    arrange something mail
me.

9. That's very easy, you just have to subscribe to the Scattered
      Pictures
Newsletter and then you get a mail every time I
make an Update on the page. How you can subscribe? Just
enter your name and e-mail address under 'Site-Newsletter'.
When you're no longer interested in news you can unsubscribe
in the same place. Just choose 'unsubscribe' instead of
      'subscribe'.

10. I would love to offer you some, but I won't. After all I'm
making Musicvideos for 4-5 TV-Shows and even movies once
in a while and if I start to offer clips I would have to do so for
all shows and all possible couples, as to not neglect someone.
Therefore if I would start to make clips I would spend most of
my time doing that and since I have a real life after all, I
wouldn't have the time to do my main objective, doing
Musicvideos. I hope you can understand my reasoning.
